High Country Alpaca Ranch est. 2009 sits at the intersection of Hwy 36 and Hwy 117. We are in the business of breeding and raising high quality Huacayas focusing on excellent genetics to produce high quality fiber.
These amazing animals captured our hearts in 2005 after a few visits to Alpaca farms in AZ. When we purchased our land in New Mexico in 2006 we knew we had the perfect setting for our Alpacas. We purchased an entire herd out of Colorado brought them home and have never looked back.
Whether you are interested in becoming Alpaca owners yourself or just looking to experience these wonderful creatures, we are here for you. We always welcome ranch visitors with open arms, announced or unannounced.
We now have a 2 bedroom bunkhouse on the ranch for visitors.
